Shown to provide pain relief

In research conducted on individuals experiencing severe pain, Alpha-Stim® M demonstrated a notable reduction in pain levels, with an average decrease of 71% after just five treatment sessions.

In a study focusing on post-traumatic pain, 56% of patients reported feeling somewhat or very satisfied with the device's ability to alleviate pain at the three-month mark, while 85% expressed satisfaction after six-months.

Another study revealed that chronic pain patients using Alpha-Stim® experienced notably enhanced functionality compared to those undergoing standard care.

Compared to patients using Vicodin and OxyContin for pain relief, those using Alpha-Stim® reported greater reductions in pain levels, according to their self-reports.

Other studies have shown benefits from the use of Alpha-Stim®. Further (and perhaps larger) studies would also be helpful to establish Alpha-Stim®'s usefulness in pain management.

• Power Source: Two AA batteries. Replace with disposable batteries (lithium preferred - do not use rechargable batteries)

• Timer Settings: Probe (10 seconds on, alternating with 2 seconds off), 10, 20, 60 minutes and continuous.

• Current: 10 to 600 uA continuously adjustable.

• Frequency: 0.5, 1.5, or 100 Hz (pulses per second).

• Waveform: Bipolar asymmetric rectangular waves, 50% duty cycle, 0 net current.

• CE conformity statement for Europe.

• The Alpha-Stim M is a class IIa, Type B medical device. It has been independently tested by outside agencies in order to provide assurance of conformity to applicable standards for medical equipment safety and electromagnetic compliance.
